Prior to becoming the Medical Director at Leah Nickie Advanced Aesthetics, Dr. Ruggero practiced medicine for 15 years in Boulder Community Hospital’s Emergency Medicine Department. She is a graduate of University of Colorado School of Medicine and Northwestern University’s Emergency Medicine specialty program. She has specialized in the field of Medical Aesthetics since 2003.
Dr. Ruggero performs all medical spa procedures including the administration of Restylane®, Juvederm® and Botox® injections, as well as other treatments. She also provides sclerotherapy for the treatment of spider veins. Under her supervision, the staff dispenses physician-strength Prevage® MD, a powerful antioxidant and dermal anti-aging product, which is available only through medical doctors. New – we now provide Latisse™ – the first and only FDA approved lash lengthener and thickener, dispensed only by Physicians.
